TOM STADE: YOU’RE WELCOME!

Direct from a smash hit run at the Edinburgh Festival, the UK’s favourite Canadian émigré takes to the road with his latest show.

Candid and alluring, join Tom as he ruminates on life’s oddities and revels in his own perpetual shortcomings.  Expect the customary Stade flair; uncompromising humour,  insatiable mischief and heaps of inspired inspiration.

Following a succession of sell-out tours, and appearances at international comedy festivals around the globe, Tom is firmly established as one of the UK’s most dynamic and exciting talents.  He recently stormed BBC One’s Live at The Apollo  (for the second time), and has appeared on The John Bishop Show, Ch4’s Comedy Gala, Stand Up For The Week and Dave’s One Night Stand.

TOM JOINS THE JOHN BISHOP SHOW – BBC ONE

The John Bishop Show

Tom will appear on an episode of The John Bishop Show.  The brand new series was recorded at the Hackney Empire, before a live audience and features a stellar line-up of guests from the worlds of comedy and music.  The series has a primetime Saturday night slot, starting on Saturday 20th May and running until 18th July at 9.45pm.  Tom’s episode will air on Saturday 13th June and Tom performs alongside the incredible Florence + the Machine, Pete Firman, Ellie Taylor and Phil Wang.

TOM STADE TO STAR IN NEW PLAY GIANT LEAP ALONGSIDE PHIL NICHOL

Tom will star in the world premiere of Giant Leap at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Giant Leap is a fast-paced foul-mouthed comedy drama featuring a group of writers stuck in a subterranean room and tasked with writing the most important line of their careers – Neil Armstrong’s first words as the US fakes the 1969 moon ‘landing’. 

Phil Nichol plays a Hollywood film producer, and Tom will play an alcoholic novelist.  The play is written by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay and directed by Alexander Lass.
